Arctic Thunder airshow
« on: July 29, 2010, 07:18:28 PM »

Despite the events last night, the airshow will contiinue as scheduled.  It is free to the public and a great experience for those that have never been.
The show is on both Saturday and Sunday.  Gates open at 0900.  This would be a great opportunity for the public to pay respect to the 4 crew members that perished last night.

I plan on being there and if you want I can give tours of both C-17 and C-130's from a maintainers point of view.

I wish we could go!  I haven't been since I was a kid.  An awesome experience everytime.  I hope the weather holds and it's as good as I remember.

I saw Lee and Morgan out there and it was fun. I liked how they did the missing man formation and talked about the C17 crew in the spot where that demo was going to take place instead of just skipping it.

The harrier demo was impressive as well.
